Sherried Beef Wraps

  • 1 Pound Cube Steak
  • 1 Cup Italian salad dressing
  • 2 Tbs. Olive oil
  • 1/3 Cup cooking Sherry
  • 3 Tbs. Unsalted butter
  • 3 Large shallots
  • 8 Ounces sliced mushrooms
  • Wraps


Marinate steak in Italian Salad Dressing in a flat, non-reactive pan for about two hours. Slice steak about 1/2 inch in width. Brown steaks in olive oil. Deglaze pan with sherry. In another pan sautee finely diced shallots and sliced mushrooms. when finished, place in pan with steaks with sherry. Mix and heat thoroughly. Place in a good quality wrap. (Jerry uses non-flavored wraps so that the flavor of the sherried steak is dominant)
